about the studio
"Christine's house has such a nice, inviting, artistic atmosphere.
It makes classes feel like an adventure."

--Janet, mother of Sam and Owen

In 2005, we converted our dining room into an art studio for children.
Sturdy tables, colorful chairs, a magnetic white board, music, and a pet
parakeet help make the studio a place where children feel comfortable and
inspired. Parents are welcome to stay during lessons or drop off and go.
Directions to my Mt. Prospect home studio are emailed to registered
students the Sunday before a class starts.  To learn more about what it's
like to take classes here, feel free to explore the
student gallery, read
parent recommendations, or read about my philosophy of art education.
