Our fourth annual Art Institute Field Trip was a great
success! Nine young artists met at Christine Thornton's
Art Studio to copy reproductions of master works from the
AI. Then we traveled into the city to see the originals up
close and personal. The group conducted a "scavenger
hunt" where we searched for everyone's "own" painting
(and saw lots of incredible art along the way). We enjoyed
a fabulous lunch in the courtyard beside a mermaid fountain
(left) and visited Millenium Park before heading back home.

We contemplated some more art in the Modern Wing. (Jasmine and Caitlin, below left and Jake, below middle) Then we crossed the bridge to Millenium Park (below left), where we played around with the "bean" and the fountains before heading home. (below)
