Art Start
Paper Masks
Art Start students learned about masks and the important roles they
play in cultures all over the world.  After studying masks with many
colors, shapes, and expressions, each student designed a unique
mask of his or her own.  The designs were drawn on colored paper,
colored with markers and/or colored pencils, then cut out and
mounted on another sheet of paper.  With strings and eye holes in
place, these masks can be worn with great effects.  (see left)
