Art Start
These vibrant abstract designs were composed of shapes, lines, and colors.  Students learned about art concepts
like focal point, pattern, overlapping, and contrast during this project.  The designs were first drawn in pencil, then
colored with a technique called
crayon etching, where crayon is applied in layers then scratched (or "etched")
away to reveal the colors underneath.
