Founder and Network Representative for the SCBWI Illinois Illustrators' Network.  Organized monthly meetings for
children's book illustrators with varying levels of experience, prepared discussion topics, hired presenters, organized field trips
and orchestrated critiques.  Maintained an e-mail list to communicate with 170 members.

2004 -- present

Fall 1994 -- Spring 1997
Mount Prospect Elementary School District 26:  Full time art teacher at Euclid and Indian Grove Schools, grades K-5.  
Taught art to nearly 1000 students per year.   Attended curriculum writing workshops then updated the district's elementary
visual art curriculum to meet state of Illinois standards. Founded after-school art club for fifth graders.        

Spring 1994
Substitute Teaching:  Glencoe District 35 grades K-8 and Avoca West District 37 grades K-8.

Fall 1993
Student Teaching: Glencoe Central Middle School grades 5-8, Glencoe District 35.   New Trier Township High School grades
9-12, District 203 in Winnetka.
