Art students ages 5-11 built paper mache animal sculptures in this
three week summer mini camp. The first week they chose an animal
and built an armature out of plastic bags, newspaper, tape and
aluminum foil. The second week they added paper mache to the
armature. By the third week, the paper mache was fully hardened and
they were able to paint the animals with tempera paint. Way to go,
artists-- the sculptures turned out great!
